Why TopThree exists
More customers now ask an AI assistant who to call before they search. "Who's the best plumber in Austin?" gets a short answer with a few names in it. That answer is a shortlist, and most business owners have no idea whether they're on it.
Finding out shouldn't take a sales call, a contract or a credit-based pricing sheet. TopThree asks the questions your customers ask, shows you exactly what came back, and tells you who got named instead of you. Then it gives you the files to fix what's fixable on your own website, at a flat price.
We're skeptical of AI snake oil, and we built TopThree to be the opposite: every number sits next to the evidence it came from.
How it works
We ask five buyer questions.
You give us your business name, what you do and your city. We ask an AI engine five questions a real customer would ask: who's best at what you do in your city, a "near me" question, a cost question, an alternative to the business it named most, and a head-to-head comparison.
You see the exact prompts and the raw answers.
Every result shows the exact prompt we sent and the full answer that came back, word for word. If we say "named in 2 of 5", you can read all five answers and count for yourself.
The engine is named on every result.
Free checks are answered by Llama 3.3 70B, an open model that answers from its built-in knowledge, with no live web search. The result says so, with the date and time.
Checks run on a ChatGPT model through the OpenAI API, with web search on. The result names the exact model and date, and notes that the API can answer differently from the ChatGPT app.
Your website gets its own score.
If you add your website, we also run an AI-readiness audit of your public pages: whether AI crawlers are allowed, whether your services, prices and location are stated plainly, structured data, speed and more. It's a separate score with every check listed. We never blend it into one mystery number with the AI answers.
You fix it yourself, then re-check.
The Fix Pack gives you the files and copy to publish: robots.txt, structured data, an answer-first FAQ, titles and meta descriptions, a pricing section and more, with guides for WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Squarespace and Wix. After you publish, one click re-checks. Monitor re-checks every week so you can see the trend, not one snapshot.
What TopThree does not do
- We never log in.We don't ask for passwords to your website, CMS, Google Business Profile or social accounts.
- We never post or publish for you.Not on your site, your profiles, review sites or social media. You publish everything yourself.
- We don't promise results.Nobody controls what an AI assistant says. We measure it honestly, across many prompts and weeks, and show you the raw evidence.
- We don't do sales calls. No sales meetings, no strategy calls, no contracts. Check free, buy online, cancel online.
- We don't invent proof. No made-up reviews, customer counts or stats. Real reviews from real customers will only ever appear once they exist.
- We don't link to your competitors. When AI names another business, we show the name and domain as plain text.
